[It's pretty easy to find Hans -- he's not gone far, after all, is just outside the stadium ensconced in one of the trees. He's watching passersby with a beady and curious eye, seemingly here to take note of and observe both the heroes and the civilians filing out of the execution all at once.
It's a morbid sort of people-watching, but he seems pleased enough with it.
That said, Hanako gets a wave and a grin.]
Come to think of it, I got somethin' of yours. Ya didn't seem the type to miss it that much, though.
[Is this like, a regular kitchen knife, just out of curiosity.]
[ It sure is just a regular kitchen knife, one of billions that can be found around the city. It looks brand new, blade a perfect mirror to catch the sun and flash it in Hanako's eyes. It's for the better, because he'd been looking a little dazed, also waiting for everybody else to empty the stadium. ]
Oh, that's where it went.
[ He wouldn't have missed it, but he holds his hand out for it anyways ]
Nyahaha, ya don't pay much attention to where yer sharp things go sometimes, eh?
[Hans gives him a nod and then tosses the knife down -- it hits the ground point-first, because tree-related knife safety!!! Or something.
You're too short for him to do this hand-off otherwise--]
I ain't exactly the barrier guy back home, but things like this get taken down one o' three ways. [putting up a finger with each:] Ya break the barrier, but that'd need a whole lot meowre than just a knife or a body or two; or ya go for whatever's makin' the barrier and break it. That's the barrier hieroform or the barrier meowster.
[I planted a tree outside the stadium for the aesthetic.
Hanako how many pockets do you have: the real investigation for the next few weeks. Hans doesn't seem especially interested in where he's secreting his knife, though, lazing on his branch.]
What, ya had barrier powers or somethin' else? Seems like they did some kinda switcheroo with all these powers comin' in.
[Or at least that seems to be the idea??? He sort of got that idea somewhere in all the trialing and people complaining.]
That was three: breakin' the barrier, the thing the barrier's power goes in, or the person makin' it. If they stick with the same thing, there'll be a slip-up sooner or later. Just gotta keep our eyes peeled.
[ Hans' real superhero power is growing convenient trees ]
...Something like that.
[ Not at all, actually, but he's seen many different types of barriers, and usually goes for the person creating them to bring the barrier down. Not really a choice here, though. ]
The barrier was around just the stage, wasn't it? But they'll just move it somewhere else if it's destroyed. What if we hide here before the barrier is set up?
[ They could potentially see how it's done, see who's doing it, already be inside the barrier itself... and then AMBUSH!! ]

Hanako picks up the knife, though, shakes the dirt off of it and returns it to what looks like a hidden pocket inside his uniform. ]
I would've been able to take it down before... [ pouting... he hates having all his power stripped away ]
And if I knew who was making the barrier, I would have gotten rid of them. So what's number three?
