...me too. I'm going to throttle a reason out of him. He can't get away from it by dying tomorrow.

[glancing at him, like she's trying to get a measure of his mood.]

It's bad enough that he killed her. But the way he acted like it was all a joke... that's unforgivable.

[hanaban]

[ Hanako nods, because that's what gets him most of all. He'd asked Argalia for a reason— any reason, made up or not— and he couldn't even provide more than a "because I could" ]

...it was senseless...And to the end, he denied having done anything to Norma.

[ that's... another one of his lies, isn't it? because otherwise... ]

I'm not inclined to trust anything he says... but that part seems like it might be true. That he really had no idea what happened to her.

And the way all of the evidence was pointing...

That Chiemi killed Norma, and Argalia killed Chiemi...? But there were three cups.

[ they did not sit down for a tea party and then murder each other, please, ]

I know... but it doesn't make sense for the three of them to have gotten together. And if a fourth person was in the mix -- there's no real evidence of that, either.

A planned murder typically doesn't have much evidence left other, not if the murderer is careful. You heard what Janeway said.

[ That she'd have done it much cleaner, if it were her ]

So, what, do you think that captain lady did it instead?

No. But she could have. That's such a useful power to have...

Yep. With that, the possibilities are endless! If Janeway and Axel ever teamed up...

[ we'd be fucked! good luck trying to logic that! ]

That guy's ability to frame any one of us has the potential to cause all kinds of headaches.

As for the captain... hm. There must be some limitations to that power that could narrow down the possibilities.

Sure, but why would she tell any of us? She wouldn't even demonstrate her power, even to make something simple, like an apple.

[ hanako didn't either but look. janeway looks reasonable. ]

Yeah, that's pretty annoying.

I'll have to get a proper demonstration out of her before more nonsense starts happening again.

And how do you plan to do that? Ask nicely?

Imagine if she could have created a lie detector. It would have made things so much simpler.
