she kind of just stumbles out of the stadium and into an alleyway, probably. she doesn't want more people to see her. so many people saw her transform and kill someone live on television and her head hurts and she's got drying blood under her nose and everything is overwhelming.
she stops and kind of just stares at him, though, not running away or even really on the defensive. she's glad to see him.]
[ Is she... It doesn't matter, because Hanako's glad to see her, not even hesitating to come up to her and give her a hug— it's a gentle one, like it's just as much to comfort himself as it is for her sake. ]
she pauses, frozen for a second, and then like very carefully she wraps her arms around him and hugs him back, resting a hand on the back of his head.]
[ He stays like that for a moment, then leans back. places a hand on the top of Nimona's head, moving to squish her cheeks between his palms, lowering to hold her hands, like he's checking that she's all there. ]
[she lets him, because it kind of re-calibrates her and reminds her that she is supposed to act like a human. or at least, something that isn't just a panicking animal. she wrinkles her nose when he squishes her face, and when he holds her hands, she holds them tightly in return.]
My bad. [she says, a little hoarsely.] I... I froze up. But I remembered.
... Maybe. [she does frown a little though, thinking about it.] Weird. I guess... I guess just keep it in mind, see if anything like that happens again.
