[ Looks up at his thought balloon as he realizes where Hanako is staring, and then waves his hands all through it to dispel it. ]

I'm allowed to be sarcastic in my own brain, you know.

[ It's hard to tell! anyways, he folds his arm and huffs, because he knows and Danny knows they're never going to playdate ]

...Nimona says I'm not allowed to kill you. That's the only reason you're still here.

[ danny nods ] Then...a truce. So that Nimona doesn't have to end up alone on a team of one.

What "truce"? You're the one getting off easy.

[ Danny can't kill him? he'd like to see him try ]

[ a thought bubble starts to form, but danny immediately starts swatting it away before it can show anything coherent. as they always say, if you can't think of something nice to say, don't think it at all!

[ he pauses mid-step, straining to make sure he heard right. But he doesn't quite look back. ]
