[ oh my god what is HAPPENING

bright lights are flashing, someone is holding him in, and he's in a tight space. he starts flailing to try and find a way out of whatever hellscape he's been put in, with moderate success. enjoy getting slapped and elbowed a bunch, hanako! ]

[ ughghhghgh maybe this was a mistake! when can Hanako go a full week without getting slapped/elbowed/punched in the face?? ]

Well first he's going to grab one of Danny's arms so he doesn't poke his eyes out, and then ]

[ twists it behind Danny's back. please stop. ]

[ reflexively, he phases his arm out of hanako's grasp as soon as he feels the strain of it getting twisted behind him.

and then with the other arm, he swings a fist wildly, which, because i rolled a 19, is going to go straight for his cute lil face ]

[ The purikura perfectly captures a frame by frame of Danny's fist colliding against Hanako's cheek and knocking him backwards onto the floor ]

anyway once danny blinks the flash out of his eyes and his brain catches up to his fists, he looks down to see the literal child he just punched in the face ]

Oh sh--are you okay?!

Danny hovers a finger or two under his nose to check if he's breathing ]

[ Before he gets a chance to, Hanako suddenly bolts upright and smashes his face against Danny's hand ]

Wah—?!

[ scoots backwards a little, for safety ]

What happened?

[ oh good. because the next step would've been pinching his nose shut until he woke up ]

I thought you passed out.

[ rubbing his face ]

Ehh, it'd take a lot more than that to knock me out!

[ nnnnnnot that he wants Danny to try again, so he rushes forward to redirect Danny's attention to the photo editing screen ]

Oh, these turned out nice! Look, that's you- [ points at Danny's face. uses the tip of his finger to draw in devil horns and a tail ]

It's just the camera flash! Posing for pictures is nice and all, but the candid delight on a person's face when they're hugged by surprise is so much more precious! I wanted to capture that for you.
