I left school behind ages ago, I'm not exactly eager to go back. And if there was a pathway back to where you came out of, I didn't see it.

it's just weird being told to be serious by some punk (he's a punk) who's basically the same age as him, maybe. but it's not like he has anybody to tell secrets to, anyways. ]

I've been a full ghost for over ten years, ever since I was 15. The whole...being half-ghost and alive again thing? That's a recent development.

The reveal makes him bristle, because he can understand having your foot halfway in the coffin, but to return from being a full ghost? Impossible. Not only impossible, but unforgiveable- returning from death goes against the very laws of nature. ]

With your parents' ghost portal...?

You mean, did their portal bring me back to life?

Isn't that what you said made you half dead, half alive?

It is. The first time, when I was 14. I died the rest of the way at 15. And now...technically, I'm not so much "alive again" as I am just possessing a body, but I'm basically stuck in here. With a pulse and everything.

The very thought makes him feel itchy inside, the same way he felt when he first opened his eyes here and found himself... basically possessing a body, with a pulse and everything. It was weird, in that familiar sort of way, but he's been a ghost for far far longer than he's been alive. ]

Reigen could help. He's an exorcist, so...!

[ presumably? maybe? he can separate the soul and the body without destroying him? ]

Seriously? That guy's a hack. He couldn't exorcise his way out of a paper bag if he tried.

And besides...I don't have a choice. Me, as I am...I would destabilize and disappear completely if I were separated from this body.
