Heh... Did you see how this happened? And here I was trying hard to follow rule number two.

Not really. [bummer!] I wish I did, though. They must have used one of the abilities we got.

I wonder if they have surveillance cameras around here...

[ That's pretty standard in the modern age, isn't it? he'll have to snoop around the police department later ]

That must be one hell of an ability, though! Have you seen other people use their abilities? I wonder which one of us did it.

Just the team leaders. The ability names for everyone else are so vague. I think some people haven't figured out what they can do yet, or they're still practicing...

[ so much happens... It's not until today that Hanako finally catches up with Saya, holding his phone up in front of her face and looking at her expectantly.

she laughs and pulls out her phone to start sending him the links so he may experience shark. but also, while she does this--]

No, not yet! I don't really have that many... Ryuki bought me something and it came with Nimona's card, though.

[ you know how on Sundays you just sort of sit there after execution with a thousand yard stare for a bit

That's Hanako except he's on autopilot and doesn't realize it until he literally bumps into Saya on his way back to the dorms ]

[hanako has seen furry foot knives and he will never be the same.

saya blinks, surprised.]

[ don't do this while crossing traffic, kids. but it's fine, he's almost back to the dorms ]

[frowns profusely when she next runs into him, before curfew.]

[ Again with the questions that make him grit his teeth a little, but he forces himself to calm down and extends out a (only slightly shaking) hand. ]

Mmhm.

[ She can test it and see, if she wants. ]

[squelching]

[hm. she carefully places his rock and phone in his hand, not letting go until she's sure they're not about to fall right through him again.]

[ Ryuki carried Hanako off to the hospital immediately after trial, but it only took another hour or two for the drug to wear off and for Hanako to regain consciousness again. He looks fine, now, IV drip attached to his wrist that he keeps trying to pull his sleeves down over. He's still not used to a physical body... did you know, you have to feed and take care of bodies... ]

There's probably a chair or two next to the bed, and space on the bed itself since he's sitting up and small enough for that ]

week four, monday.

[squelching]

[they are in (throws dart) the anime store. i'll yeet a mem at you in a bit, but first— saya is sorting through the figurines, picking up hanako's to look at it. she considers it for a moment before she unceremoniously tosses it at him.]

You know, they should get rid of this one.

[... she says this, but then she's sort of blearily blinking in surprise before heaves a sigh, annoyed.]

[ He fumbles before he catches it, turning the figurine around to look at it ]

Why? What's wrong with it?

[ It looks... actually, no matter how he thinks of it, it's too weird holding something that looks like him. He puts it back into the pile, face down. ]

[squelching]

[slowly, like pulling teeth:]

[her eyes are very, very wide right now.]
